Health care benefits

Health care benefits of basic health care is given to the employees and their families with a maximum of 3 children.

Death Benefits

Death benefits paid to the heirs of employee who died caused by other than employment accident, as an additional benefit beside the old age benefits in which the amount has not been optimal.

How to claim the old age benefits?

Old benefits program is on savings system under a provident fund scheem,which contribution paid by employees. So, the benefit of old age benefits is the accumulated contribution investment profit.

So, how to claim?

1. Every request on old age benefits, the employee must fill in and submit from JAMSOSTEK 5 to the Jamsostek local office, and enclosing:

* Jamsostek Member’s card

* Valid family identity (copy of identity card and family card)

2. Payment demand of old age benefits for employee which suffers the totaldisability must enclose a doctor’s medical report

3. Payment demand of oldage benefits for an employee who leaes territory of the republic of Indonesiamust enclose:

* statement saying that he is no longer work in Indonesia

* copy of valid passport

* copy of valid visa

4. Payment demand of old age benefit for an employee who die before reaching 55 years of age must enclose:

* the death certificate from the hospital or the police or village office

* copy of family card

5. Paymentdemand of old age benefits for an employee who resign fromcompany before reaching 55 years of age and has become a participant at least 5 years, has completed 1 month waiting period must enclose:

* copy of working suspension from the company

* statement saying that the employee is not working yet

6. Payment demand of old age benefits for an employee who become civil servants, a member of military corps of RI must enclose:

* Jamsostek Member’s card

* copy of promotion letter

* valid family identity.

NO later than 30 days after the payment demand of old age benefits, PT Jamsostek (Persero) does the payment of old age benefits.:)

How to Become A Member of JAMSOSTEK

You can become a member of Jamsostek by:

1. contacting the local Jamsostek office.

2. filling in form 1 for the company’s registration

3. filling in form 1a for the employees’ registration

4. paying the first contribution in accordance totheamount set by PT Jamsostek (Persero)

For your information,the company needs to put special attention for the orderly administration in:
* registering all the employees with actualmonthly wages receipt

* filling in the registration form with the actual data

* paying regular contribution in the latest date of 15 of the next month simultaneously with a contribution form details

* Reportingany changes occured (both wages and employees changes).
